Job Description:
We are hiring a Repair Technician II to troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic and avionics equipment, including communication, navigation, and flight control panels.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to the component level.
- Test and diagnose circuit boards and electronic components.
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other test equipment.
- Replace defective electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform functional testing to verify repairs.
- Complete repair documentation and work orders according to FAA requirements.
- Track repairs and parts using an ERP system.
- Manage multiple repair projects and priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of electronics experience; avionics experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military/technical experience.
- Strong electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test equipment.
- Soldering experience preferred.
