Job Description:
We are hiring a Dimensional Inspector for a busy machine shop in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting precision-machined parts and reading blueprints and GD&T.
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Verify dimensions and tolerances
- Document inspection results and identify non-conforming parts
- Work closely with machinists and the quality team
Requirements:
- Previous dimensional or quality inspection experience
- Machine shop or precision manufacturing experience
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail
