Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $50,000 – $55,000 direct hire health, vision, dental, 401k
Job Description:
The Calibration Technician is responsible for calibrating, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instrumentation and equipment to ensure conformance with established standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Test and calibrate instruments and equipment using:
- Oscilloscopes
- Voltmeters and multimeters
- Signal sources
- Network analyzers
- Spectrum analyzers
- Signal analyzers
- Power supplies
- Mechanical measuring instruments
- Industrial manufacturing equipment, including reflow ovens
- Troubleshoot and repair test equipment at the component level.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics, technical manuals, and calibration procedures.
- Record and maintain calibration results and related documentation.
- Maintain the inventory of production tools and equipment.
- Ensure equipment meets established calibration and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent technical education/experience.
- 3+ years of experience repairing and calibrating electronic instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience with component-level test-equipment repair and calibration.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Avionics experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
