Pay Rate $16 - $17 per hour based on experience

Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable GMP Packaging Operators to join our team in a fast-paced, GMP-compliant manufacturing environment. The Packaging Operator is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient packaging of finished products, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP guidelines, and internal quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate, clean, and set up packaging line equipment, including labelers, blister machines, bottle fillers, cappers, sealers, and cartoners.
- Perform packaging of tablets, capsules, powders, or liquids in accordance with batch records and SOPs.
- Conduct in-process quality checks (e.g., weight, torque, seal integrity).
- Accurately complete all required documentation: packaging records, logbooks, cleaning logs.
- Inspect finished goods for proper labeling, visible defects, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in packaging areas per GMP housekeeping standards.
- Promptly report equipment malfunctions or deviations to the supervisor.
- Support line changeovers and clearances.
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in regular safety training.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year in a packaging role within a GMP-regulated facility (pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or cosmetics industries preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret batch records and SOPs in English.
- Proficiency in basic math (weights, counts, measurements).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Team player with strong communication and adaptability skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of FDA, cGMP, and SOP requirements.
- Experience with bottling, blister packaging, pouching, or other automated systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
