Job Description:
The Packaging Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently packaging dog biscuits into boxes while maintaining product quality and a clean, safe work area.
Hours are Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm
Location: Allapattah / Miami, FL 33142
Responsibilities
- Package items into boxes according to company standards.
- Check products and packaging for quality and accuracy.
- Assemble, label, and seal boxes properly.
- Ensure the correct quantity of items is placed in each box.
- Keep the packaging area clean and organized.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Report damaged products, packaging issues, or equipment problems to a supervisor.
- Assist with other production and packaging tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move boxes or materials as required.
- Previous packaging or food production experience is helpful but not required.
Work Environment
This position works in a food production and packaging environment. Employees are expected to follow all company safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
