Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to customers and contractors troubleshooting HVAC equipment. This is an onsite position and requires someone with strong hands-on HVAC knowledge who can diagnose problems remotely and clearly walk customers through solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide HVAC technical support by phone, email, and chat
- Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and system issues with customers and contractors
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related problems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Assist with troubleshooting split systems and heat pumps
- Guide technicians through diagnostic procedures and corrective actions
- Answer questions regarding installation, operation, wiring, and equipment performance
- Document technical support cases and resolutions
- Work with internal departments to resolve complex technical issues
- Provide professional customer service while handling technical calls
Requirements
- 3+ years of HVAC technical experience
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong understanding of electrical components, wiring, controls, and schematics
- Experience with split systems and heat pumps
- Inverter-system experience highly preferred
- Candidates without direct inverter experience should have a strong electrical/HVAC troubleshooting background
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC issues remotely and clearly explain technical solutions
- Comfortable providing support over the phone and through digital support channels
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable working onsite
