 NEW HAVEN, CT
 
Pay/hours for position




 PAY RATE: $20.00 TO $23.00 depending on experience
1st Shift – Full Time M/F
Requirements of position



2 years  - Industrial maintenance, preferably in the food manufacturing or similar industry 
Familiar with PLC’s and automated system a plus
 
 
Responsibilities of position




 1st Shift – Maintenance Tech
 
Location: New Haven, CT
 
Shift: 7am to 3pm 
 
Pay rate: $20.00 to $23.00 depending on experience 
 
The Maintenance Technician ensures the efficient operation of equipment and the facility through preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and adherence to safety standards in our food manufacturing environment.
 
Job Responsibilities: 
 
  1. Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform timely troubleshooting and repairs on production and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
  2. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  3. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety protocols, proactively addressing any hazards.
  4. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  5. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with production teams to address equipment needs and support continuous improvement efforts.
 
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or 
  2. related fields preferred.
  3. 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing or a similar industry.
  4. Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  5. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  6. Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems is a plus.
  7. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
