Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Bilingual Commercial Sales Representative / Account Manager to find and manage corporate accounts. This role is crucial in managing project deliveries and developing lasting relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a robust understanding of retail dynamics and customer needs. The Commercial Sales Rep (Bilingual) will be able to write effective proposals while adhering to budgetary and time constraints. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a sound understanding of the industry (building materials, flooring products, etc. is preferred) and be able to communicate and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential corporate clients.
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and project coordination.
- Advise on retail pricing strategies and promotional activities.
- Ensure the effective positioning of products in a competitive market.
- Manage the availability of sales tools.
- Analyze sales data to identify and leverage growth opportunities.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Working closely with project managers, design managers, estimators, and senior personnel.
- Drafting persuasive and detailed proposals. Identifying opportunities for bid submissions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- MUST be BILINGUAL (English and Spanish is required).
- Experience as a bid writer is advantageous.
- Excellent industry knowledge and a willingness to keep up with trends.
- Industry knowledge (building materials, flooring and/or flooring products, molding, etc.)
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Netsuite software.
- Ability to strategize, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
