The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for experienced Maintenance associates to work at Parker Hannifin in the Otsego, MI area. They offer a clean facility on a tobacco-free, closed campus.

3rd Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM
Must be able/willing to work daily overtime, weekends & holidays based on Parker’s needs

Job duties may include, but not be limited to:

Job duties may include, but not be limited to:
- Maintain & repair production equipment, facilities, grounds & general building maintenance using a wide range of techniques & specialties
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic & logic systems
- Report safety & environmental incidents to management immediately
- Train, instruct & assist trainees through the training period
- Work with groups in initiating & implementing programs such as Lean Manufacturing & 5-S projects
- Document all work in CMMS (work order system) as required
- Work with a variety of hand tools including welding & power brake presses
- Use power tools, bench tools, wrenches, carpentry, etc.
- Fabrication & welding of metal structures
- Prevent excess waste of product & components
- Diagnose, isolate & correct electrical troubles to involve repair & replacements of controls, motors, switches, devices, gears, rerouting of circuits & distribution centers to balance loads, ect.
- Secure, level, align mechanical hookups during machine installations
- Install & wire centralized control panels, layout & wire distribution centers & circuits, machine tool controls & switches, electrical control and timing devices, lighting systems, etc.
- Install & maintain the electrical systems of the plant to provide power for machines, equipment, lighting, facilities & other electrical apparatus and gear
- Make emergency repairs when necessary to offset excessive downtime and production delays
- Must have the ability to take projects from perception or idea without a blueprint to completion, developing diagram as work progresses
- Will perform other tasks as directed by plant supervision
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree, maintenance certification (preferred)
- At least 2-5 years’ experience in maintenance related field
- Ability to regularly lift/carry 40 lbs, occasionally 70 lbs.
- Adhere to the tobacco-free, closed campus policies
- Ability to work with fumes, dust, oils, including outside during hot & cold weather
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours per day
- Ability to operate mobile, mechanical equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Complete certification & be issued a forklift & equipment license
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, reach overhead, climb platforms or scaffolding & work at ceiling heights
- Basic computer skills
- Good verbal & written communication skills
