Pay/hours for position





Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30 PM
$16 hourly
 
 
 
 
Requirements of position




  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in material handling is a plus.
  2. Previous experience in material handling, preferably in a manufacturing or nutraceutical environment.
  3. Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
  4. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  5. Ability to lift and move heavy materials and products.
  6. Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations.
  7. Good communication and teamwork skills.
 
Responsibilities of position





  1. Receive incoming materials, ingredients, and products.
  2. Inspect shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with established standards and specifications.
  3. Report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  4. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
  5. Ensure that materials are stored in a safe and organized manner.
  6. Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  7. Safely handle, transport, and distribute materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.
  8. Follow proper handling and storage guidelines for various materials, including nutraceutical ingredients and products.
  9. Deliver materials and ingredients to the production area in a timely manner to support manufacturing processes.
  10. Assist in the preparation of production materials and ensure they meet production requirements.
  11. Maintain accurate records of material transactions, including receipts, transfers, and disposals.
  12. Report any discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervisors.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials.
  14. Comply with industry regulations and company policies related to material handling and storage.
  15. Perform routine maintenance checks on material handling equipment and report any issues for repair or replacement.
  16. Collaborate with colleagues in production, quality control, and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
  17. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate material handling activities.
