Requirements of position
|

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in material handling is a plus.
- Previous experience in material handling, preferably in a manufacturing or nutraceutical environment.
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and products.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|

|
- Receive incoming materials, ingredients, and products.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with established standards and specifications.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
- Ensure that materials are stored in a safe and organized manner.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Safely handle, transport, and distribute materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.
- Follow proper handling and storage guidelines for various materials, including nutraceutical ingredients and products.
- Deliver materials and ingredients to the production area in a timely manner to support manufacturing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of production materials and ensure they meet production requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of material transactions, including receipts, transfers, and disposals.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Comply with industry regulations and company policies related to material handling and storage.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on material handling equipment and report any issues for repair or replacement.
- Collaborate with colleagues in production, quality control, and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate material handling activities.
