Key Responsibilities:
As the General Manager, you will lead and coordinate the activities of our manufacturing facility. Your role will be essential in ensuring optimum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality output. Responsibilities include:
- Policy & Goal Development: Plan, develop, and implement organizational policies and goals.
- Facility Coordination: Oversee activities across manufacturing, engineering, planning, sales, maintenance, and R&D to improve operational efficiency.
- Sales & Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to create strategies that drive market development and secure a competitive, profitable position.
- Budget Management: Analyze budget requests, allocate operating budgets, and identify areas for cost reductions.
- Operational Planning: Direct the preparation of directives, optimize material and labor usage, and adjust production to maintain profitability.
- Production Oversight: Review production reports, manage costs and product quality, and resolve issues to avoid delays or increased costs.
- Employee Relations: Promote positive employee relations and a high level of morale. Foster teamwork, employee respect, and continuous improvement.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR, quality, safety, and environmental policies.
- Leadership: Direct and mentor department supervisors, manage staffing, performance, and employee development.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required by the CEO.
Leadership/Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage subordinate supervisors across Manufacturing and Administrative departments.
- Responsible for the recruitment, training, development, and performance management of employees.
- Ensure all supervisory actions comply with company policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in foundry casting or related automotive manufacturing environments.
- Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Additional: Proven ability to manage a team and drive continuous improvement.
