Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $18-$20 per hour
Job Description:
Job Scope:
Employee will participate in a variety of activities related to manufacturing, production and organization of the associated workspaces, as well as providing other support as needed for our manufacturing facility.
Position is full-time;
shifts available: first shift (8:00 to 4:30) and second shift (4:30 to 12:30); it requires at least 40 hours per week
Job Duties:
- Keep detailed logs of all performed work
- Follow all setup procedures and work instructions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure quality
- Follow all safety procedures
- Handling of hazardous materials and/or hazardous wastes under direct supervision of properly trained personnel
- Maintain cleanliness of the production area and related equipment
- Prepare orders for shipment
- Keep inventories of supplies and stocks on hand for production use
- Perform other related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED
- Mechanical Engineering or some manufacturing experience preferred
- knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to:
• follow procedures and standard operating procedures with precision
• organize tools and production environment
• keep records - work in a team environment, but with initiative and able to work independently
- communicate effectively
- have an eagerness to learn new capabilities and skills
- be able to calculate simple algebraic equations
- forklift experience helpful
- work in a production environment while following safety procedures
- ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs
