The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Janitor/Custodian to work at a company located in the Coral Gables, FL area!
Job Title: Janitor/Custodian
Job Location: Coral Gables
Pay and Hours Temp to Hire $20/hr.
2 to 3 years of experience cleaning a commercial facility
The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all common areas throughout the building.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleans common areas including (but not limited to) restrooms, conference rooms, and cafeterias.
- Cleans floors and surfaces by wiping, sweeping, mopping or scrubbing as needed.
- Dusts furniture, washes wall, dusts and polishes light fixtures, cleans windows and dusts blinds
- Gathers and empties trash bins/receptacles.
- Follows procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power cleaning equipment to prevent damage to floors/fixtures
- Stocks and maintain supply rooms as needed.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (i.e. waxing floors, shampooing carpets) as needed
- Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair to supervisor
- Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen
JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Basic English language skills- must be able to communicate in English.
- Attention to detail
- Able to prioritize work
- Interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels
Pay Rate :$20
